Acid reflux and fungal infection?

I have been bothered with a "lump in my throat (feels like phlegm) since April. I had a barium swallow, tonsillectomy, breast surgery, etc. barium swallow was negative for AR. I went to a different ENT and he said he has a fungus in her throat. I was on Diflucan for 4 weeks. I return to the doctor next week to get checked. The feeling is again (though never completely went away.) I have been in medicine internal tract, ENT and 2. Sometimes I feel like my throat is swollen – and it seems Maybe after eating certain things, like peanuts / peanut butter, chocolate or cheese. Does anyone have any ideas for me? I would appreciate any help you can give your suggestions.

I have a genetic vulnerability to fungi. Is the feeling disappears after 4 weeks on Diflucan? You said the feeling of return, means that when you took the Diflucan helped? If Diflucan helped then it sounds like fungus to me. Here's what else I could say peanut butter, chocolate, cheese and many sticks in the throat after eating. I guess the cancer is out of the question, since I have had since April. I'm no doctor, good luck.
