Acid Reflux Exercise
How long should I wait to do something "soft" exercise after dinner?
We all remember being told that we should not exercise immediately after eating. While this is true, how long we must wait depends on how much we ate and how the intense training. I try to work first thing in the morning but my schedule sometimes does not. In those days, my hope is to do 30-40 minutes of "fast" walk (3-4 mph) in my neighborhood. Although I know it better to wait at least an hour after eating to start working out, may not be able to finish my training before dark if you wait so long. Given that my training is very intense, wait until 30 minutes after dinner is enough? One more thing … I have been diagnosed with GERD (disease acid reflux), but tend to have a little heartburn more often than most people my age (usually 1-2 times per month). This could impact how long I have to wait until you start exercising at night.
I know ppl r 2 implies leaving about an hour but as the acid relfux recommend at least 2 hours too be on the safe side, only to have his dinner before abtit thats what i do!
