Acid erosion and braces?

My sister has moderate acid erosion in teeth from years of suffering from acid reflux and refreshments puffing. Their teeth are very crowded and crooked, and she wants to have brakes before going to college. Will their acid eats into the teeth of a problem with brakes? And it's not a good candidate for Invisalign.

Depends on how bad they are, but I think it's a problem. Orthodonists care more about their roots and bones of real teeth. That said, the supports are attached to the teeth and removed at a later date. If teeth are badly this process can further damage?? Invisalign can be better. Talk to a orthodonist of this.
